About Us

Un.plugged Church is the culmination of ten years of dreams, preparation, false steps and finally one huge step of faith.

Un.plugged began in 2021 as a home Bible study in Murrieta, California before it moved to Hemet. Anna, her mom, and a handful of other faithful saints met in our home and enjoyed a great time of fellowship and growing in God’s Word. But it wasn’t the right time yet.

God called Anna and I to 4|12 Church San Jacinto where Pastor Steve took me under his wing and poured into me more than any other man in my life. I soon came on staff as the Media Director and learned how a large church is ran from the ground up. Sitting under Pastor Tom’s teaching and watching his example also proved invaluable.

In 2023 I was ordained as the Administrative Pastor and little did I know I was being prepared to take my mentor’s position. January 1, 2024 Pastors Tom and Steve retired from 4|12 Church to dedicate all their energies to Hope For Our Times. I still remember these men of God going through the difficult days of saying good bye to a church and congregation they loved, not knowing what lay ahead, having to trust in God completely.

Over the last few months God has been stirring my heart, shepherding me towards my biggest leap of faith yet. At first Anna and I thought we would start a non-profit and launch a YouTube channel, but as time passed a burden grew within us for so much more. Comfortable at a great church, with a congregation we truly consider family, we never thought this moment would come.

In preparation for a sermon I was never supposed to preach, God, through His Word and the saints of old, pressed upon me that it was my time to step out in faith and start a church. What was to be our YouTube channel is now our church. God’s church. Your church, too.

Un.plugged Church will meet a need in our valley and satisfy a hunger that so many have. We will do this through the solid and passionate teaching of God’s Word, verse-by-verse and chapter-by-chapter. Next, transparency. We are a gathering of real people, going through real life, and leaning completely on a real savior. You will always get the real me, and we want the real you. Finally, at un.plugged you will be treated and loved like family.
